First varsity game at the W & J Shootout yesterday!

Bella Urso scored 14 points to lead Canon Mac Varsity Girls' Hoops past Lincoln Park, 49-20, on Wednesday at Washington & Jefferson College.

Leading 28-16, Canon Mac Varsity Girls' Hoops went on a 13-point run to pull further away. Canon Mac Varsity Girls' Hoops got out to a 36-16 lead at halftime before closing out the victory.

Canon Mac Varsity Girls' Hoops had a great day shooting from inside the arc, finishing 19-30 on twos. Canon Mac Varsity Girls' Hoops passed the ball well with 11 assists on 20 made baskets. Canon Mac Varsity Girls' Hoops stood tall, blocking four shots in the game. Julia Larouere led Canon Mac Varsity Girls' Hoops with seven rebounds. Also contributing for Canon Mac Varsity Girls' Hoops were Brooke Stanton (12 points), Faye Saunders (11 points), Maddie Piatt (4 points), Larouere (3 points), Lucie Fleming (3 points), and Makenzie Clair (2 points).

Canon Mac Varsity Girls' Hoops got past University, 59-23, on Wednesday at Washington & Jefferson College as Brooke Stanton scored 15 points.

Leading 13-5, Canon Mac Varsity Girls' Hoops went on a 17-point run to pull further away. Canon Mac Varsity Girls' Hoops got out to a 32-11 lead at halftime before closing out the victory.

The fourth quarter was the best for Canon Mac Varsity Girls' Hoops as they outscored University 17-2. Canon Mac Varsity Girls' Hoops had five assists in the quarter.

Canon-McMillan Junior Varsity Big Macs past South Park, 27-14, on Wednesday at Washington & Jefferson College as Emma Carl scored 10 points.

Canon-McMillan Junior Varsity Big Macs had a strong first half, leading 13-9 at halftime and never looked back, securing the victory. Leading 13-12, Canon-McMillan Junior Varsity Big Macs went on a 14-point run to pull further away!

Carl made eight of 10 free throws, and Canon-McMillan Junior Varsity Big Macs attempted 20. Canon-McMillan Junior Varsity Big Macs played stifling defense, blocking three shots and grabbing 12 steals. Canon-McMillan Junior Varsity Big Macs controlled the paint, grabbing 28 rebounds. Addison Kramer led the team with five rebounds. Also contributing for Canon-McMillan Junior Varsity Big Macs were Ava Porter (8 points), Riley Farmer (6 points), and Nora Schumacher (1 point).
