Thank you all, it was a great run…..a lot of memories made over the years! Thank you to everyone that supported and/or was a part of our team over the past 6 years! Best of luck to all the boys on and off the field, can’t wait to see what the future holds for each one of you.

Our 12U year has come to a close with a tournament at Cooperstown Dreams Park! The boys finished with a 4-3 record, the 3 losses were only by a combined total of 7 runs and they held the lead in each game. They outscored opponents overall 69-47, had great pitching performances and solid defense all week. We just lost a few close ones that could’ve went either way. Home runs by Jackson(6), Carter R(4), Braxten(3), Andrew(2), Dante(1) and Liam(1). Very proud of the way this single community team played all week against very good competition from across the country and Canada. Cooperstown Dreams Park experience was an awesome week with the boys and gave everyone involved memories of a lifetime. Thank you boys not only for this week but for a great year!!

We lost a close back and forth battle 6-4 vs Westlake Warriors(IL) tonight in our second bracket game, after about a 4 hour rain delay in the 3rd inning. Liam hit his first career HR, a 2 run shot that gave us the lead in the fourth inning but we couldn’t hang on. The boys battled with great pitching from Ethan and Ashton and error free defense.

The boys won their first bracket game today 5-4 vs St.Louis Thunder(MO) on a walk off solo HR from Jackson!! Today’s Home Runs: Jackson(6), Carter R(4) & Braxten(2). Great pitching from Brady, Jackson & Ash!

The boys finished pool play with a 3-2 record with a 12-0 win over the Broadneck Bruins(MD) after dropping a heartbreaker earlier in the day the the Minooka Rivercats(IL) 11-9. The boys finished tied for the 32nd seed but lost a coin flip so they’ll go into pool play today as the 33rd seed and play at 2pm. Carter R hit his 3rd HR!

Cooperstown Game 3: Tough 14-11 loss to Five Star Heat(NC). Home Runs: Jack hit his 4th & 5th, Andrew hit his 2nd & Braxten hit his 1st.

Cooperstown Game 2: the boys won again beating the Colorado Diablos(CO) 17-4! Home Runs: Jack hit his 2nd & 3rd, Carter R hit his 2nd and Andrew got his first of the tournament. Great pitching performance from Braxten and great team defense once again.

94 teams participating this week in Cooperstown and the boys did very well in the skills competitions yesterday Carter finished 2nd in the Golden Arm, Jack finished 6th in the Road Runner and the team finished 10th in the Around the Horn.

The boys beat Utah Elite(UT) 11-8 in their first game at Cooperstown! Dante hit his first ever HR in his first at bat today! We also got bombs from Jack and Ruk! Ethan and Jack pitched great and the defense behind them was near perfect!

First Day in Cooperstown is absolute craziness for the coaches with registration, moving in, uniforms, photo shoot, meetings, etc. 2nd Day things definitely slowed down with Opening Ceremonies and skills competitions. The boys did very well overall in all the skills competitions, I’ll post where they finished in the next post. We’re currently in a rain delay, first game at 4pm today will probably be pushed back.
