Dr. Carrie Rowe, acting secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Education, stressed the importance of structured literacy during a House Appropriations Committee budget hearing today. Hopefully, this will now result in us getting legislation over the finish line this legislative session in order to ensure every Pennsylvania student becomes a proficient reader by creating a comprehensive support system through four key initiatives. I’m sorry to say, all school districts need solicitors, aka lawyers, who do the right, just and fair things to earn their pay. ‼️
