“Kansas Dirt Nap” .gehl was able to get it done this morning in Kansas. This buck has 13 score-able points. “150 yards he came out right at shooting light, grunted twice and he came straight to me. I took a quartering to shot at 13 yards.” -Carter

“Changing Patterns” When the bucks break out of their bachelor groups, switch their home ranges, and you see cold fronts coming, switching your set might be a good option. Moving into new territory, without bumping deer out of bedding, can bring a lot of success. Keep scouting, keep grinding, and good luck to everyone during the first weekend of rut!

“It’s All Gonna Work Out” After ’s third all-day sit this season, he was able to put a perfectly placed shot on this old buck. “This isn’t my biggest buck antler-wise, but it’s not all about the score. I take shots at mature bucks that get my heart racing”, Chase stated.
He spent 15 hours in the saddle this past Saturday, and unfortunately missed his #1 target buck earlier in the evening. This was his #2 target buck, and he couldn’t have placed the arrow anymore perfect. After he hit the release, the only thing left to do was let the broad-head cook. One hour and 60 yards later, we had this buck in the bed of the truck.
