One of our Class of 2026 graduates has earned a statewide student athlete award! Trevor Condon, who graduated this spring from Etowah High School and helped lead his team to two State Championships, is the Georgia Gatorade Player of the Year for Baseball! Gatorade Player of the Year is the top honor in high school sports, celebrating the nation’s best high school athletes for their excellence in sport, academics and community. An outfielder, Trevor has signed to play at the University of Tennessee but is projected as an early round selection in July's Major League Baseball First Year Player Draft. He’s ranked nationally: No. 14 by Prep Baseball Report, No. 17 by ESPN, and No. 20 by Baseball America, which also named Trevor a Preseason First Team All-American. Trevor graduated with a B average and volunteers as a baseball instructor and mentor to youth groups. Our School Board is laser focused on ensuring our students are learning more, growing more, and achieving more in our classrooms than they could anywhere else!

Matthew Sharman led Etowah (GA) to the Class AAAAAA state championship, starring at the plate and on the mound.

The senior hit .419 with 42 RBI and went 10-0 with a 1.22 ERA and 110 strikeouts en route to earning Georgia Player of the Year honors. 🏆⚾️

It's Wednesday, and in a few hours, the team will take the field and prepare to take on the Georgia Generals this Saturday night.

Etowah's Condon named Gatorade Georgia Baseball Player of the Year Fresh off his second state championship at Etowah, Trevor Condon was named Gatorade Georgia Baseball Player of the Year on Monday.

Shoutout to ‘26 Seniors Adan Cifuentes, Brennan Roth, Andre Sweet, and Brody Smith for representing our team in the Senior All State games today at Mercer University.

Game 2 was cancelled due to weather, but the boys from Canton got one more win repping the C in Game 1 as the Northwest team took down the Southwest team 9-0.

Proud of these guys for representing us well!!
