Thank you to everyone who came and fished our 4th annual Good Friday open at Portage Lakes. We had 20 teams. If anglers want to do a fall open, we would need to have 20 teams commit. Please keep us updated.
Our top team was Danny and Jeff with a limit weighing in at 21.70 lbs. 2nd was Hankins and Rondy with a limit weighing in at 19.76 lbs.
Our 3rd place angler was McCathran with a limit weighing 18.54 lbs.
4th place and big bass went to Glavac and Gallagher with a limit weighing 17.52 lbs and the big bass weighing 5.42 lbs.
5th place was Dufala and Queensberry with a limit weighing 18.28!!!
The weather was great and a good day was had by all.
We hope to see you at our first couples tournament at Portage Lakes on Sunday May 17.

Big thanks to everyone who fished with us today! We'll post more pictures later this weekend. I also want to thank everyone at Fishermans Central.

Good morning everyone. Just wanted to update you about the 2026 fishing schedule for Beauty and the Beast. If there are any date conflicts, please let us know as we have secured a couple different dates for each ramp.

Sunday May 17 —Portage Lakes Old State Park 7:30-3 pm

Saturday June 20—mosquito —causeway ramp off 88 . 8-3:30 pm

Saturday July 25 —Pleasant Hill
8-3:30.

Saturday August 22 —Ohio River downtown E Liverpool ramp 8-3:30.

Saturday Sept 5–Portage Old State Park.

The weatherman was right about the rain and wind today; it was blowing pretty well this afternoon. 2025 Championship winners: Berger & Berger! Nice bag of fish, guys!! Congratulations and thanks to everyone who fished! Thanks to Kelly Berger for her help this year! It's great to have her help! We will be posting more about next year's schedule and point champion payout. Thanks to Fishermans Central. Great group of people in the Bass fisherman Dream land! Also, thanks to Star bites. There's going to be a couple of clean boats after today!
