In the final 62 seconds of the 2nd quarter, he intercepts the ball around the 45, runs it to the Greenmen 10 yard line, and finishes the job himself on 2nd down, putting the Blue Devils up 14-7 at halftime.

That early-game momentum carried Tallmadge to their first-ever victory against Aurora.

Tallmadge's # 2 Angelo Gotto rushes for a 40+ yard TD that would be the beginning of the end for the Aurora Greenmen, putting the Blue Devils in the lead 21-14.
