Paul started his contest prep 12 weeks out from the show weighing 242 lbs and weighed in at 175 lbs…a big middleweight. His next show is 5/2 in Butler, PA. Expecting big things for him. Congratulations to Ed Saxon for his impressive showing at the Ohio State Bodybuilding Championships. Ed is 56 years old and had two 3rd place finishes in the 35 and over divisions and an impressive 4th place finish in the light heavyweight open. He came a long way in 20 weeks! 💪🏽💯

Shout out to new client for holding her own at 53 years young on stage next to babies this weekend in the Sports Model division (theme: rodeo). For the last 15 weeks, her commitment, persistence and drive were apparent as she lost 40 lbs while toning up and gaining strength at the same time. Now we keep building! 💪🏽💯

Ran across these 3 pictures today, and I started thinking…these pictures were taken on my 50th birthday weighing 235 lbs and working towards competing in the Master’s Nationals in the 50+ division. Shortly after that, my body could no longer hold up to the training that I was putting it through. I had both hips replaced (8 weeks apart). 2 weeks after the second hip replacement, I had an accident at the gym and severed my patellar tendon, which required surgical repair along with knee reconstruction. Fast forward through a few back surgeries (4 total now)…I did have the opportunity to compete in the Master’s Nationals at the age of 56 in the heavyweight division. The best I can say is that I was glad for the opportunity and that I was able to make an appearance…I placed 10th. The point I want to make is that you should take advantage of every opportunity because at some point, time runs out.
