Our First Tee Canton Staff would like to congratulate and wish Jake, our Assistant Groundskeeper, well as he moves on to be an inspector for SA Recycling. In the spring, he graduated from Louisville High School and has done an excellent job for the last three summers assisting Groundskeeper Terry with mowing, weeding and many other tasks to keep our course looking beautiful. He even assisted with being a golf coach for some classes! Thank you, Jake, you will be missed!

Thank you to our summer intern Coach Natalie, Coach Ryan & Coach Logan who, every year, had taken time out of their busy high school schedules to "give back" to our youth.These 2026 high school graduates have grown through the program at First Tee Canton and are now starting college soon. We are so proud of all of our teen coaches who have been a wonderful role model and graduated this year! We wish all of you the very best.

Today is the FINAL day of the 2026 Golf-A-Thon! ⛳🚨 It has been an incredible summer watching our junior golfers hit the course and make a difference right here in Canton. Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and supported along the way — we couldn’t have done it without you! 💚🏌️‍♂️

Our Annual "Cops 'Fore' Kids" was a great time today! A special thanks to Officer Flaherty, the Canton Police Dept., Stark County Sheriff's Office for providing golfing with an officer, a Chick-fil-A lunch, K-9 demo, drone demo. Community partners SCDL Bookmobile provided books and mini course with books, Eric Snow YMCA who had bicyclists make healthy smoothies, plus Taggarts who gave us a deal for yummy ice cream and Coaches Gary & Wayne, Staff Carin & Mindy for making it all possible. Lots of smiles!

Our staff is feeling so grateful to be able to give yet another successful summer to our participants. Our team of college interns, volunteers and staff work so hard in the heat to bring a meaningful experience full of learning, friendship and fun! Thank you! You are the BEST!
