BRIMFIELD JFL!!
We are not paying a gate fee this year. I have covered that for us with the league and donors. So instead, the league is sponsoring a canned food drive. And since Pekin is the host, we are keeping it local for them. So take can goods to the game to donate! Clear out that pantry for the fall and bring it to the 10U and 12U games held at Pekin this Saturday!!! Spread the word if you are planning on going to the game!

❤️🖤 Pekin JFL & Junior Football League of Central Illinois Community Food Drive 🖤❤️

Football is about more than the game. It’s about family, community, and coming together to help those who need it most.

On Saturday, October 24, Pekin JFL and JFLOCI are teaming up for a food drive during the 3rd and 4th place games. We invite all JFL families to join us in making a difference by donating non-perishable food items and personal hygiene products. All donations will go to the Pekin City Church Food Pantry to help support local families in our community.

Every donation, big or small, can make a difference in someone’s life. Let’s show that the JFL family is about more than football. Together, we can make a positive impact and remind our community what Pride, Family, and Football is all about!

Based on sportsmanship, professionalism, and leadership demonstrated during the regular season and Round 1. I am happy to announce that our 12U staff and 14U staff won this new award from the league!!

Big congrats to our 14U head coach, Robert Murray being named the Brimfield JFL coach of the year!! He stepped up for this team when their coach form last season did not return. He took a small team and made them competitive while still having fun. Special thanks to him and his wife for all the volunteer hours this year as well. Bobby painted the field for us several times, they both worked many shifts in the concession stand too. Just wonderful people! Good news for me, they still have player in the program! :)

Congrats on a great season and winning Coach of the year!!
