Lesson Program and Policy Updates:
Dear Riders and Families,
To better align our lesson program with other traditional youth sports and activities, lessons will now be offered on a monthly tuition-based system. Single lessons may be taken at a higher rate outside of tuition rate.
Please note that lessons will not be held during the weeks of Christmas , Spring Break, Fall Break, and Winter Break. If your horse is in a multiple day a week training program, Training rides will still be performed during these weeks. In establishing this tuition structure, we have taken into consideration that many months throughout the year contain five lesson weeks, with no additional charge for those extra lessons. This helps ensure the program remains fair and consistent for everyone.
Make-up lessons will only be offered when a lesson is canceled by the trainer due to weather, illness, or other circumstances. Lessons missed due to school vacations, extracurricular activities, or other personal commitments will not be eligible for make-up lessons. If you own a horse, lessons may be converted to training rides with proper notice. Exceptions can be made for sickness and/or summer vacations or vacations outside of school breaks planned in advance as long as multiple make ups aren’t being stacked up.
We understand that some families have work schedules that regularly change. Exceptions may be made for those whose professions require rotating schedules, such as doctors, nurses, flight attendants, and similar occupations, provided adequate notice is given.
Additionally, all one-hour lesson slots will transition to a 45-minute lesson block. Riders who are able to independently tack up and untack their horses may arrive prepared to ride at their scheduled lesson time, allowing them to utilize the full 45 minutes for riding instruction.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support. These changes will help us maintain a consistent, high-quality lesson program while providing the best experience possible for our riders and horses.
These new policies will be effective 8/1/2026.
Sincerely,
Wyatt Equestrian Brittany Wyatt
