We are thrilled to announce the addition of William King to the FIELDS team! 🌟 A talented Lead Estimator and Project Manager, William brings a wealth of experience in sports construction throughout the Southeast. As the former captain of the Morgan State University football team, he embodies exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational prowess.

His impressive track record includes managing contract compliance and vendor performance for Maryland’s Department of Human Services, as well as overseeing projects from estimation to completion at Beynon Sports Surfaces, Inc. Additionally, William expertly coordinated subcontractors and ensured the timely progression of fiber optics projects as Assistant Construction Manager at A Connection Fiber Optics LLC.

With a wealth of experience managing accounts and driving sales in the Team Sporting Goods industry, Joe has successfully served schools, colleges, and municipalities across more than 35 states. Additionally, his expertise as an independent consultant has helped numerous small businesses scale their growth and enhance operational efficiency.

Today, we bid a fond farewell to Dan Haubenstricker. Dan is beginning a new chapter in his life in retirement. Dan began his tenure at Sports Fields, Inc. (dba FIELDS) in 2011 after working with Brian Storm at TerraScaping, located in Birch Run, Michigan, from 1990 to 1994. Directly prior to his joining FIELDS, he was a landscape architect at Designscapes, Inc.

Dan’s first met the FIELDS construction team at a football fields conversion project at Saginaw Valley State University, not 20 miles from Dan’s home. A job offer was extended to him by Brian after confirmation was received of the company’s involvement in the construction of Franklin Ranch Community Park in Franklin, Texas. And the rest is history.

Dan, a registered landscape architect, has served as senior estimator with FIELDS. His entire career has been dedicated to landscape architecture, during which he has developed a comprehensive understanding of successful project design and estimating. His attention to detail is unmatched.

While at FIELDS, Dan has been involved in projects of varying scales, including multi-field park developments such as Franklin Ranch Community Park and Sports Force Parks at Cedar Point, as well as individual sports fields for clients such as the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation and multiple schools and professional teams. His passion for perfection, expertise, great work ethic, and friendly demeanor will definitely be missed.
