Mariposa Farms

Our barn group has done CPR/AED and First aid training every two years for the past 20 years. Thanks to Lindsay Haselden sharing her daughter's story, we were trained on our very own new AED last night. I think even Marshall is certified now. He was very concerned about the mannequin trunks with no arms and legs, especially when a head fell off.

I"m still in disbelief that this is finally done and AMAZING! 5000 pounds of salt and no more need to water the arena, no dust, awesome sponge-like footing, so soft and easy to walk on. Thank you to everyone who came to hand spread 100 bags of mag flakes and clean out the storage room to store the rest. I really was shocked when I walked in Monday to see these results!

Enjoyed spending with our boarders celebrating the holidays and making raku horsehair pottery ornaments! Tucked all the horses in and prepared as best as we could. Crossing our fingers that the next two days are just cold and uneventful!

If anyone has time Monday morning to come out to the barn to help, we need to remove the fencing around the outdoor arena so it is ready for grading and new footing! We plan to start at 9am and will see how much we can get done in 2-3 hours. Extra drills would be great!! PLEASE AND THANK YOU!!!!
