Last night we celebrated the end of our wrestling season with a great night honoring our wrestlers. Each athlete received their medal and a copy of our team picture, and we took time to thank our incredible coaches and team moms for all of their hard work this season.

One of the most meaningful parts of the evening was honoring our very special guests, Luke’s aunt and grandmothers. We had the privilege of hearing about Luke’s fight and the incredible strength he continues to show every single day. Though Luke was unable to attend, his presence was felt by everyone in the room.

Several of our wrestlers and coaches even arrived with their heads shaved in solidarity with Luke, who has recently begun losing his hair from chemotherapy. It was a powerful reminder that this team is more than a sport, it’s a family that stands together through the toughest battles.

Luke, we are all behind you. Your wrestling family is cheering you on every step of the way. ❤️

We are so incredibly grateful for the support from our Dawsonville family John Wayne Corcoran Wrestling Association this weekend at the tournament! Thanks to everyone who participated in the raffle, we were able to raise $1,532.
