Bleeding Brakes at Sixes Pit Garage

Getting the air out of the system is important because even a little air can make your brakes feel soft and not work the way they should. Fresh fluid, no air equals nice solid brakes. Let Me Ride.

Today in the Garage…Throwing it way back with this beautiful old-school Mongoose BMX. Chromoly frame, classic BMX goodness, and clearly a bike that’s been loved.It was a pleasure cleaning it up, bringing it back to life, and getting this little piece of cycling history ready to ride again. 🤘Some bikes are just bikes. This one is a time machine.

There’s something about laying down RideWrap that puts me straight into a flow state. Good music, a beautiful bike, and knowing I’m protecting someone’s investment. Pretty good way to spend an afternoon.

This week will be my last week for service appointments before Eli and I hit the road for a summer adventure to South Dakota and beyond.
The schedule will be temporarily closed while we’re traveling (June 29-July 11), but Sixes Pit Garage will be back in action when we return on Monday, July 13th.
If your bike needs some attention, now’s the time to get on the schedule!
