The Men's Cross Country team might have been a last min entry to the meet, but that didn't stop them from taking home the first-place trophy.

The Wildcats finished 1st out of 22 Teams.
Due to a meet being cancelled the week before, the team was fortunate enough to be able to get into a meet to replace it.

Leading the Wildcats was Freshman Dane Jadallah who placed 6th overall. Dane ran an impressive time of 16:38. The currently ranks him the #2 freshman in the State for D1.
Next up were Landen Martell in 15th place at 17:06 and Jack Caveney 16th place at17:09. They both ran a smart race and stayed consistent during the race.
Dylan Kosik was just outside the top 30 in 31st place with a time of 17:35.
Last for scoring for the team was Leo Reyes at 17:59 and 41st place.
Rounding out the Varsity Race were Everett Galindo in 18:03 and Graham Murphy at 18:20.

Congratulations to This Week's Honorees

Matt VanBelle & Mike VanBelle
Seniors | Boys Tennis
Matt and Mike played No. 6 Doubles against Canton. After falling behind 5-1 in the first set, they showed tremendous resilience, rallied to win the set 7-5 and carried that momentum into a 6-1 second-set victory. Their composure and determination produced a spectacular turnaround.

Carter Saurborn
Junior | Boys Cross Country
Carter won the JV race at the Rambling Rock Invitational by 30 seconds. His winning time of 18:16 was also a personal record by 36 seconds.

Jazmin Miller-Godinez
Sophomore | Girls Cross Country
At the Warrior Classic Invitational, Jazmin competed in the varsity race and finished in 23:42.7, cutting 50 seconds from her previous 5K personal best. She has stepped outside her comfort zone by training consistently with the varsity runners, taking on longer distances and faster paces in practice.

Parker Peddy
Junior | Girls Golf
Parker has been working hard in practice and has shown great improvement. She is always the first to respond to questions and participate in team conversations.

Xavier Williams
Junior | Football
Xavier carried the ball 16 times for 150 yards, scoring on touchdown runs of 6 yards and 80 yards in a Wildcat victory!
