KNJ Therapeutic Riding PATH Certified Riding Instructors giving horseback riding lessons to children and adults with and without special needs.

Our mission is to support the physical, emotional, and mental development and well-being of all chldren by enhancing their ability to learn, self-regulate, socialize, and develop self-confidence through the physical practices of horsemanship. At KNJ Therapeutic Riding, we pride ourselves on improving the lives of our clients. Over the years, therapeutic horsemanship has proven to have a tremendous positive affect on adults and children with mental and/or physical disabilities. We are proud to say our patient and friendly staff work directly under our PATH certified instructor to ensure everyone gets the most out of their lessons

KNJ Therapeutic Riding:

Is in search of a riding instructor, job description is, plan and deliver riding lessons: This includes creating lesson plans that cater to the experience level of each student, as well as demonstrating riding techniques in equine therapy and providing clear instruction.

Ensure safety: Horse instructors are responsible for the safety of both their students and the horses. This means being able to assess risks, following safety protocols, and providing appropriate supervision. Select and prepare horses:

Instructors match students with horses that are appropriate for their skill level and temperament. They also tack up the horses (put on the saddle, bridle, and other equipment) before each lesson. Maintain a positive learning environment: Horse instructors should be patient, encouraging, and know how to motivate students of all ages and abilities.
