Basics are so important!!

The electricity is indeed off, and based on the latest communique from the power company, there is no estimate of when it will be turned back on. No class tonight. Everyone stay safe, and I will see you on Thursday!

I have gotten several notifications from Excel Energy that that will most likely turn the power off out at the dojo beginning at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, due to the expected high winds tomorrow. Thus far, indications are that power will not be restored until late tomorrow evening. If power is shut down, I will make an announcement concerning class sometime around noon. Obviously, if there is no power, we can’t have class.

Since we follow CISD closings, we will be closed for class on Monday night due to the weather. See everyone on Tuesday! Stay safe and warm!

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, and ate entirely too much! We will have class at 6:00 tonight, but no Blackbelt class at 7:00. Dress warm, because it is always a bit cold in the dojo.

ShukiKan is making some shirts and hoodies. If anyone would like something, I am sure Kyoshi would be willing to put in your order. Let me know, and I can tell him.

Order forms for T-Shirts and Hoodies will be distributed tonight and due Friday, October 24th. Prices $25 for shirts and $40 for hoodies (add $5 for sizes over XL). I do not plan to order many extras to have on hand and this will be the only order for at least a year so get them now! Shirts are available for students and family members alike. Thx
