Likewise, we established a vision to move our vehicle forward. The team was then established in 2011 and took off quite well. Soon, a kids camp was established.

Some stories stay with you long after the video ends.

Chloe Hofman's journey is one of incredible courage, resilience, and hope. She first came to the USA Patriots Kids Camp as a young girl searching for answers. There, she met people who showed her that a limb difference didn't define her future - it expanded it.

Years later, after making the difficult decision to undergo an amputation, Chloe didn't just overcome adversity... she thrived.

Today, she's a pediatric psychiatric nurse, an advocate, a model, and a mentor who returns to Kids Camp each year to inspire the next generation of children facing the same questions she once had.

This is why we do what we do.

The USA Patriots Kids Camp isn't just about sports. It's about confidence. It's about belonging. It's about showing children that their greatest challenges can become their greatest strengths.

Watch Chloe's story, and if it moves you, please share it. You never know who might need this message today.

They served our country. Today, they're still serving. 🇺🇸

The USA Patriots Amputee Athletics organization is more than a softball team. We are a family of military veterans with limb loss who continue to inspire communities across America through athletics, mentorship, and service.

Every time we step onto a field, we show that life after injury is filled with purpose, determination, and possibility. But perhaps our greatest impact happens away from the scoreboard.

Through our USA Patriots Kids Camp, children with limb differences spend a life-changing week learning from veteran athletes who have walked the same path. They build confidence, make lifelong friendships, discover adaptive sports, and realize they are capable of far more than they ever imagined. For many, it's the first time they've met someone who truly understands what they're experiencing.

Throughout the year, we travel across the country sharing our message of resilience, hope, and perseverance with schools, communities, veterans, and families. We don't just play softball - we change perspectives and prove that obstacles don't define what's possible.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, every donation helps us continue this mission. Your charitable contribution is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law and directly supports programs like Kids Camp, veteran athletics, and our nationwide outreach.

If our mission inspires you, please consider making a donation. Together, we can continue changing lives - one child, one veteran, and one community at a time.

Donate today and help us continue Serving Beyond the Uniform.

Welcome Shannon McQuade-Ely to the USA Patriots Family!

Please join us in welcoming Shannon McQuade-Ely as the newest member of the USA Patriots Board of Directors!

Shannon's passion for softball, leadership, and service makes her an incredible addition to our organization. She began her career in sports as a Media Relations Assistant with the FM RedHawks baseball club in Fargo, North Dakota, before spending time as a sports radio talk show host.

She later returned to her family's legacy as the third-generation President of McQuade Distributing, Inc., carrying on a tradition of community involvement and philanthropy. Her grandfather, Sam McQuade Sr., founded what has become The McQuades Charity Softball Tournament, the largest charity softball tournament in the United States, in 1976. Shannon has proudly served on The McQuade Board since 2000 and remains dedicated to ensuring the tournament's legacy continues, even after the recent sale of the family business.

The USA Patriots and the McQuade Tournament share a special history. In 2014, during our first appearance at The McQuade, Shannon's son, Ian proudly served as a bat boy and even pinch-ran for Josh Wege - a memory their family still cherishes.

In addition to her deep roots in softball, Shannon has devoted many years to serving on numerous nonprofit boards, demonstrating her lifelong commitment to giving back and making a difference.

"I am so honored to be a part of something that has truly meant so much to me and my community for more than 10 years," Shannon said. "To serve on this Board is to carry forward a mission greater than ourselves - honoring sacrifice, championing resilience, and ensuring every athlete we touch is reminded that their strength knows no limits. I am excited to work more closely with everyone and have an even greater impact on their mission."

We are excited for the experience, leadership, and heart Shannon brings to the USA Patriots. Please join us in giving her a warm Patriots welcome!

🇺🇸 Welcome to the team, Shannon! 💙❤️
