There’s a saying: “You’re only as good as the people you surround yourself with.” That couldn’t be more true at Cape Fear Beach.

The success we’ve had over the years isn’t because of one person—it’s because of an incredible group of coaches who have poured their time, energy, and passion into every athlete who has walked on to our sand.

From long practices and tournament weekends to countless conversations, encouragement, and lessons that go far beyond volleyball, our coaches have built a culture that we’re incredibly proud of.

To every coach who has been part of the Cape Fear family, past and present, thank you. Your impact reaches far beyond wins and losses. You’ve helped shape confident athletes, better teammates, and even better people.

Our athletes are lucky to learn from the best. 💙🩷🖤
Some coaches aren’t pictured here but they are always part of our Cape Fear Family!

ONE SEASON. ONE FAMILY. SO MANY MEMORIES.

Tonight, we celebrate more than the end of a long summer season.

We celebrate the early mornings.
The hot sand.
The tough practices.
The long drives.
The wins.
The losses.
The breakthroughs.
The tears.
The laughter.
And all the moments in between.

We watched athletes walk onto the sand this summer with goals, and watched them leave with something even more valuable: confidence, resilience, friendships, and memories that will last far beyond the this season.

To our athletes: thank you for trusting us, challenging yourselves, and giving everything you had. You applied our four pillars all season long and it shows in your growth as athletes and as women!

To our coaches: thank you for pouring your time, energy, knowledge, and heart into these athletes. You are the leaders and we couldn’t be more proud to have each of you leading our athletes and guiding them to the next level of life and athletics. Thamara Moreira ☀️ , Noah Riascos , Michael Polsinelli , Morgan Willis , Doc VM and Cody Lee Dunn

And to our families: thank you for every early alarm, every car ride, every tournament weekend, every sacrifice, and every cheer from the sidelines. Cape Fear wouldn’t be Cape Fear without you.

Tonight isn’t goodbye.

It’s a celebration of everything we’ve accomplished together and a reminder that this is only the beginning.

Cape Fear Beach Volleyball Club
Built on the sand. Built for life.

What a summer. What a team. What a family.
