We are a Hunt and Stock IHSA Equestrian Team competes in Zone 7 Region 5. FAQs:

What if I have never ridden? No worries! Do I need my own horse? No.

We welcome all levels of riders from those who have ridden their whole lives to those who have never even touched a horse. Your lesson fee covers the use of a lesson horse. How often do you meet? We meet as a team once per week on campus for communication and planning. We also meet for lessons in small groups depending on your schedule. Competitive members are required to take a minimum of one lesson per week. Where do we ride? We ride at Remley Equestrian Center. It is located approximately 15 minutes from Campus. In most cases, transportation can be arranged for riders who do not drive. Do I have to compete? Those who do not wish to compete are not required to do so. What are the costs Associated? While the mission of IHSA (Intercollegiate Horse Show Association) states that one of its goals is to make horse showing affordable, there are some costs associated. These include:

-Lesson Fees ($25 per weekly lesson, $15 for subsequent weekly lessons)

-Travel Expenses (Food, Fuel, Hotel)

- Membership Dues to Respective Organizations (AQHA for Stock Team, USHJA for Hunt Team, and IHSA for Both)

-Class Fees ($25 for Stock Team, $30 for Hunt Team)

-Miscellaneous Personal Equipment
