✨Workout with me Wednesday!
Alisha Schwartz Wallis you have been our biggest cheerleader since the first month we opened. We are so excited to be yours this week!!

📖👓 Storytime:
When we opened our doors in February we already had a client base.
People who had known us for years from our previous gym.
They knew us.
We knew them.
The love was mutual and it was solid.
Alisha was the first person that joined that didn’t know us.
But she loved us from the start.
She gave us hope that we could grow bigger on our own.
We didn’t need that big gym name to make it.
And that maybe others would like what we are doing too.
For a new business that is huge. 🏆

🎙️She tells everyone about us.
🍪She brings us treats.
🧽 And cleaning supplies (she owns Tidy Time LLC and we can only imagine how amazing your house would smell after she uses the cleaner she gave us).

⭐️Why you want to work out with her:
-she is dedicated.
She arranges her work/sleep/life schedule based on when she works out (spoiler it’s 5:00am 🕔).
Sometimes waking up in the middle of the night to get a job done, just to be able to make class at 5am.
-she is kind.
Her love for Jesus shines through her and radiates to everyone she meets.
She is living her life fully based in Gods word.
It’s inspiring and beautiful.
-she is so strong and so, so humble about it.
We are not her first gym.
She’s been working out for years.
And it shows. 💪🏼
But if you work out with her she acts like YOU are the strongest person in the room.

⭐️Alisha we are so blessed to have you at our gym. Your belief in us in our early stages was the little bit of confidence boost we really needed when things were uncertain.

✨Motivational Monday!
Welcome back to a new school year!
As those buses start rolling past your house at 7:19 on the dot, daily, you realize how routine a school year is.
Even if you don’t have humans to get ready in the morning, the routine of a school year is a part of our communities daily life.
How late that morning traffic makes you.
How packed a McDonlds is on McTeacher night.
The reason Caruthers Street and West Independence in Jackson are impassable at 3:20 daily.
Now is the time to jump into this new start in our communities routine!

☀️ We have a pretty great class at 5:00am. and 6:00am. which put you back home before that school traffic!
🚌 Our 7:30am. and 8:30am. group class might catch ya in some slow traffic spots.
🍪But 4:30pm. class is usually a sweet spot for beating 5:00 traffic and those drop off buses.

🍎Whichever class you choose, you will be building part of a new routine that is going to be a smart choice for this back to school season.

✨Feel Good Friday!!
Starting a business is hard.
And we’ve had our share of set backs these past 6months.
📜Like, a big ol’ list of them.
But we’ve stayed positive because we know we got this.
📰 ⭐️But this week we got some REALLY good news.
We had security cameras installed for some upcoming projects we have in the works and they caught Austin’s reaction to the good news.
📺Enjoy this video of pure happiness.

✨Workout with me Wednesday!
Strap in for this one- it’s Larry Neal.
Aka- my dad.
So in honor of him being our focus member this week we took photos of our partner workout last Friday.
So I could be in them.
Just what I wanted.
However I will say everyone should experience working out with their parent.
It really is fun.
If you ever needed motivation to go to the gym- keeping your parents in shape will do it.
You have to go to hold them accountable
They in turn, hold you accountable.
No skipping allowed.
It’s like high school all over again.

My dad did construction for 20+ years (he still does it on the side!) then when he got his desk job he joined healthpoint and worked out on his own for years.
He will tell you he thought he was strong until he started doing this class.
He was humbled by it to say the least.
🕣 He has been coming to the 8:30 class since we opened and has a big ol’ list of things that have improved in his health.
✅Strength.
✅Flexibility.
✅Ability to wear a hoodie even when it’s 100+ degrees outside. (We don’t actually know what that’s about but it’s his signature thing so we don’t question it)

⭐️Why you want to work out with him:
-he is a talker.
🌳 🍎
Yes, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
But the conversations had while lifting or in between reps totally keep your mind off the hard work you are getting done.
-if you are remodeling or building anything he can tell you the correct/best way to do it.
As good as the h3 staff is at building strength he is that good at building things.
That has nothing to do with working out but it is a pretty notable perk.
-he would give you the shirt off his back if you asked.
Truly.
He really would do anything for anyone.
However if he is wearing that gross hoodie please don’t ask- it’s always dripping with sweat.

🤍This was a long post.
It had to be tho.
It was for my dad and I am so proud that he is taking care of himself and going to that 8:30 class.
Not just for me and my siblings, but for his grandkids who adore him.
We are all so proud of you PawPaw!

🗣️ Exercise doesn’t just change your body — it can change your whole state of mind. 💪

On the days you feel stressed, low, unmotivated or stuck… move.

Walk. Run. Lift. Train.

You rarely regret the workout. You usually regret skipping it.

Move your body. Change your mind. 🔥

✨Me: ‘okay boys we need a real mission and vision statement - send me words and sayings that describe what we envision h3 to be.’
Them: (see below)
Me: okay, now to mush all that into two coherent statements.
No big deal.
Just the foundation of our whole business model.
I got this.

✨Workout with me Wednesday!
Erin Dickey we are blown away by your stamina and dedication. Erin has competed in Hyrox competition in New York and is currently training for one in Nashville.

🕢 If you are looking for a beastly babe to workout next to she is your girl! Erin typically comes at 7:30 with our group of other strong women.

💛Why you want to work out with her:
-she works hard.
I mean like really hard.
But with excellent form.
She is a machine.
She is precision.
If you ever needed to know how low your squat should be- you could just look at Erin.
-I know I have made her out to be pretty intense but don’t let my fangirling fool you, she is just as super sweet and encouraging as the rest of the 7:30 crew.
So maybe she fan girls you.
Full circle moment. ⭕️
-she is a mom.
We have a lot of those.
Strong moms.
And like Danielle Schneider our previous ‘work out with me Wednesday’ recipient (ps-sorry/not sorry to tag you in another facebook post) she has two girls and she is setting that standard of health bar high.
Which is what all moms want.
Raise these girls with a sense of how strong they are and can be.

🏆Erin it is awe inspiring to have a front row seat and to be a part of your training. We are so proud of you and love watching you excel at what you do.
We are also so sorry you didn’t feel good during this photo shoot/workout and only shows how much determination and drive you have.
Told ya she was a beast. 💪🏼

✨Try again Tuesday!
Motivational Monday was a bust. 💥
So I’m trying again.
With ‘Try again Tuesday’.
I made it up.
Because giving grace to ourselves is a really hard thing to do.
But I’m trying.
And you can, too.
Like, when all day you have tried to get a Facebook post up, but it’s the first day back to real work and your brain is on mental overload and you run out of time and you are tired.

You can just try again tomorrow.

So maybe something didn’t happen yesterday for you.
Like making a healthy food choice.
Or drinking all the waters.
Or joining that great local gym down the road.
but you can try again.
Today.

✨Feel Good Friday!
At H3 we truly admire the people who serve our community.
🍎Our teachers are top level.
Maybe it’s because they know how hard they work on a personal level.
Maybe it’s because our kids are thriving because of their amazing teachers.
Or maybe it’s because all the trainers have had teachers who have impacted them so deeply that they are in this career in the first place.

🥇 Teachers are strong.
And we are always up for the opportunity to make them stronger.

❤️🖤Jackson R-2 staff got some fun ‘welcome back’ self care dropped off today. Staff also get $10 off our class price and the trainers made a 4:30 class (because teachers need that after school decompress sesh’).

We truly admire and respect how hard they work daily and wish them all the best in this upcoming school year!
