⛳️ Ever wonder how often the cups or pins are changed?
At Cape Neddick Country Club , those little flags are on the move 5–6 times a week.
Cups are always changed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with one or two days off during the week depending on play, tournaments, or scheduled cultural practices.
Hole locations are carefully selected based on the contours and slopes of the green, pace of play, traffic patterns, and the level of challenge they’ll create for golfers.
It’s a small change that can make a big difference in your round and it’s one of the many details that goes into keeping the course in great playing condition.
So the next time you see a pin in a different spot, remember: that little white cup has a lot of thought behind it. 😉
