Ed brought in a halibut measuring 27 inches and weighing almost 9 pounds yesterday near SpongeBob.
For those who are unaware, SpongeBob is a marker designating a specific fishing area off the coast of Capitola.

Jojo has his fishing line tied up with mackerel caught yesterday off the Capitola Wharf, and they are finally starting to arrive. He was protecting his catch from a seal to protect his catch and this is what happened.

Today, a crew of fishermen aboard a boat out of Capitola reeled in an impressive mixed catch of rock cod and lingcod utilizing drop shots baited with white fluke in the vicinity of the mile bouy.
