Yesterday we faced Milan in a home match at Sandy Creek. Freshman Madison Ditner had herself a day by shooting a career best 44! The highlight of the day was her eagle putt on hole 3 that just missed and left her with a tap in birdie. Senior Maddy Ciochon also played well and finished 4th overall in the match with a 59. ✈️⛳️

Congrats to Madison Ditner on her 10th place finish at the Huron League Jamboree! Madison shot a 104 in her first 18 hole event. There were no other freshman in the top 15. Maddy Ciochon also shot a career best and came in 28th place individually. ✈️⛳️

Madison and Maddy had another solid outing yesterday, with Maddy shooting a career best 58 and Madison a solid 51. While we don’t have a full squad to compete in matches, both girls racked up points towards All Huron League standings by having the 2nd and 3rd best scores of the day against Flat Rock. They are continuing to improve and are hitting more fairways and greens each day! ✈️⛳️

Maddy and Madison started their seasons off against SMCC yesterday at Monroe Golf and Country Club. Maddy was great off the tee and was finding the fairway all day. Madison shot a 49 in her high school debut! Way to go Jets! ✈️⛳️

Airport Girls Golf will start August 12th, 11:00am-1pm at Sandy Creek Golf Course. All girls interested must have a physical submitted to the school in order to practice. Please contact Coach Casey McDowell via email at [email protected] with any questions or if you’re interested in playing. ⛳️✈️

CONGRATS to the boys team!!! What a great group of boys who went out and played great golf all year but especially yesterday! Go get em next week at regionals!

🏆 The Airport Boys Golf team won the Huron League Jamboree #2 and with that captured the schools very first Huron League Title!!!

🏌️‍♂️ Low scores Evan Mullins 74, Brayden Siders 75, Landon McGregor 78, and Cade Horner 79.

👀 The team now sets their sights on the Regional Tournament, next Tuesday, at Dearborn Country Club.

The girls are off to a 🔥 start at Regionals!!! Birdie on 17 by Liv Tilley and Kennady Kroll holed out from 100 yards on 16 for birdie!!! Raegan Budzios threw a dart into 17 and made par. Let’s go Jets!!!
