We are frost seeding! Many folks are unaware of how easy this process can be. Its a simple brpadcast seed application as the ground is frozen. Spread small perennial seed now and let mother nature do the work! We use Deep Leaf Supreme, Three Leaf Supreme, Spade Special, and Rugged Roughage as our frost seed blends do it now and make it a minimal effort plot before it warms up for good! We are back! Maple syrup season is over and we have deer on the brain! Frost seeding is happening now, spring plots around the corner, and shed antlers are being picked up. We have kept our herd in great shape over the winter and will ramp up our feeding and mineral sites as the weather breaks.

We have feed(Bulk), mineral(Grit) and blend(Bulk+Grit) available and our economical feed, Ridge Boost, available as well. Pricing for Ridge Boost is 30/50lb and the other 3 are 40/50lb

Importance of exclusion cages.

I highly suggest putting exclusion cages in your food plots. There are 3 great benefits to doing so.

1. Do I have enough food? If there is a huge disparity between inside and outsid of the cage, you likely need more food.

2. Did my plot fail? Having a cage will let you know if you actually had a plot failure or if your plot was just grazed to death.

3. What are the deer eating? Having a cage shows you which plants the deer are eating the most out of your plot. For example, If you only have soybeans in the cage, its because the deer are eating them all.

Put out your cages.

Another tip, put them 25yds from your treestand, its an easy yardage indicator to reference.

Green Curtain is our screening blend that contains Sorg/Sudan, Grain Sorghum, and a blend of millets. Mainly a screen, the millet offers a late season feed for your deer and birds.

Screening plays a vital role in stand access. Theres a lot more eyes on you walking through the woods than you realize.
