When the dog days of Summer are upon us, it is time to give the trout a reprieve and help ensure they survive the stressful conditions of low water with excessively high water temperatures. This is the time for anglers to target bass. It's no secret that the Susquehanna and Juniata Rivers are among the best for largemouth and smallmouth bass, but not everyone has a boat.

A Yellow Breeches Creek experience offers private, easy access to the stream. Regardless of your physical ability or limitations, the stream has open water year round with non-difficult wading. In addition to the abundant caddis hatches, the stream is well-known for its white fly, brown, and yellow drake hatches during the months of July, August, and September. There is great midge activity in the fall and winter and outstanding trico mayfly hatches from late June through September.

Stream tested custom tied flies are provided, as well as several digital photos of your successful trip sent to an e-mail address of your choice.

Fish the famed Yellow Breeches Creek as well as other select limestone and freestone streams across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania with our knowledgeable guides. Half day and full day trips are available.
