Mayhem Baseball

This weekend we competed in the Last Chance for Rings tournament in Hobbs, NM.

We finished 2nd overall. While we didn’t play anywhere near our full potential this weekend, that doesn’t take away from the incredible season these boys had.

They worked hard every single day and finished the season with an outstanding 25-10 record, earning 1st in the state in point rankings and 4th in the state in power rankings. That is something to be incredibly proud of!
I couldn’t be prouder of the heart, determination, and growth this team showed all season long. Thank you to the players, coaches, and families for making this such a memorable year.

Now it’s time for these Mayhem boys to hit the football field! Wishing each of you a safe, fun, and successful football season. Go show everyone what you’re made of!

Some of our MAYHEM boys play in artesia 🙄 we knowww and we accept them for who they are😂…. But anyways, man are we proud of them! Taking on state one game at a time. Good job boys! representing Eddy county in the best way! We will be watching every game to cheer you all on‼️

⚾️🔥 JUNIORS OPEN STATE WITH A BIG WIN! 🔥⚾️

The Artesia Junior All-Stars started their state tournament run in dominant fashion, defeating the Las Vegas Junior All-Stars 11-0! 🧡🖤

Artesia grabbed the lead in the first inning and never looked back. James Turner blasted a solo home run, while Adam Quintero helped drive in two runs. The offense broke the game open with five runs in the third inning, highlighted by RBI singles from Phillip Martinez, Liam Barbour, and Zakary Conway.

Turner and AJ Carrasco were outstanding on the mound, combining to shut out Las Vegas while allowing only four hits and striking out five batters. Martinez and Conway each finished with two RBIs to help lead the Artesia offense.

What a way to begin the state tournament! Congratulations to our players and coaches—keep the momentum rolling! 💪

⚾️⚾️Today’s games did not go as anticipated, with a 5-4 loss in the first game due to numerous errors committed by the team. However, the boys rebounded to win the second game 11-5.
This week has seen the addition of exceptional talent, including 11-year-old Jett Baca #3, who has made an impact playing alongside older competitors and earned himself the MVP in the first game through impressive hitting and fielding.
Another standout player, Marcos Quintana #52, delivered a notable performance with a home run to center field, helping secure a lead, earning himself the MVP in game two. The team plays again tomorrow at 8:00 AM and 9:45 AM.⚾️⚾️

‼️LETS GO MAYHEM! Tomorrow is a new day we’re taking on Saturday with a better mindset and better attitudes!‼️

‼️Our team excelled in the 2026 World Series skills competition, achieving a clean sweep in most events 🧹 . We took first place in base running, 'around the horn,' and homerun derby, and secured second place in the accuracy throw after a tiebreaker. ‼️

This dominant display was followed by convincing wins in our games today, with scores of 21-1 and 12-0. Our players, including Dom Spear and Daniel Carrillo, showcased their skills with home runs in each of the first two games.💯

‼️What a beautiful weekend for MAYHEM‼️

Mayhem entered the Lubbock May Double Play tournament 2026 this weekend and took home the GOLD 🥇!! Yet again an incredible weekend from them mayhem boys, they had no problem putting in work and out scoring their opponents 65-9 🤪

Meanwhile 3 of the MAYHEM boys got picked up to guest play for Rocker B. They also had no problem putting in work! Stealing multiple bases, pitching was on fire 🔥 and hitting and defense was phenomenal! Unfortunately they didn’t bring home any hardware but we are more than proud of all the effort every single player/guest player put in this weekend!

Not to mention our ranking is looking pretty good 🫡 we’re coming for that number one spot yall wait and see! 💪🏼👀

‼️CARLSBAD CHALLENGE 2026 MAYHEM BASEBALL TAKES THE GOLD‼️

These MAYHEM boys came to play. Out scoring opponents 62-22 with a flawless 5-0 record. Today they played 3 games straight in crazy heat and wind but didn't let that breeze blow their chances. 💨
Taking home the gold in the 13U open bracket was such an accomplishment for them. We've got an amazing group of boys who'll keep show up and show out every game!

Mayhem comes out on top today with a 2-0 record scoring 24 runs and allowing 7! Pitching today was on fire 🔥 sticks are always hot and the energy is always there!
