The difference between engaging your core and not engaging at all.

If the core isn’t engaged properly:
• Stability decreases
• Injury risk increases
• Strength and performance suffer
• Breathing and pelvic floor function are compromised

This is why teaching 360 breathing, rib-to-pelvis stacking, and deep core engagement (not just “sucking in”) is foundational—especially for women and moms who want to train hard and stay healthy.

❌ STOP SUCKING YOUR STOMACH IN
Proper core engagement is not sucking your stomach in or clenching as hard as possible.
It’s a coordinated system between:
• Diaphragm (breathing muscle)
• Pelvic floor
• Deep abdominals (primarily transverse abdominis)
• Rib cage + spine positioning

The goal is pressure management and spinal stability, not rigidity.

Here’s what to do ✅
1. Stack your posture
“Ribs over pelvis.”
2. Inhale through the nose
“Expand belly, ribs, and back — 360 degrees.”
3. Slow exhale through the mouth
“Ribs come down and in.”
4. Pelvic floor gently lifts
“Lift and support from the bottom.”
5. Belly button draws in slightly
“Corset tightens one notch.”
6. Maintain that tension and keep breathing
“Stable but not stiff.”

GRATITUDE POST ✨

As the year comes to an end and we all navigate the holiday season, I’m reminded of how heavy this time can feel — especially as a single mom. I put so much pressure on myself to be the best mom I can be, to provide, to show up, and to make everything feel magical.

But even in the stress, I’m reminded of how blessed I truly am.
We may not have everything, but we have everything we need.
A peaceful, cozy home.
Health.
A strong body.
A family that loves and supports us.
A career I’ve built from the ground up.
And the most amazing women that I get to coach every single day.

I have it all. I am blessed.

It’s easy to focus on what we don’t have… on doing better… but when you take a moment to slow down and look around, gratitude shifts everything.

Thank you to everyone who’s been part of our journey this year. My heart is full. 🤍

Training full body push means doing a workout that targets all the major muscle groups, but only using push-based movements.
Movements that involve pushing weight away from your body or using muscles that create a pushing action.
