Virgen de Guadalupe Dec 12” refers to Our Lady of Guadalupe, a major religious and cultural celebration held every year on December 12.
Here’s what it means:
🌹 Who is the Virgen de Guadalupe?
She is a title of the Virgin Mary associated with her reported apparitions to Juan Diego in 1531 on Tepeyac Hill in what is now Mexico City. The image of the Virgin imprinted on Juan Diego’s cloak (“tilma”) is one of the most important symbols in Mexican identity and Catholic faith.
