Permission to not feel guilty or the need to explain away pursuing physical goals… you don’t need to give yourself or anyone else a reason why you love to workout or move, but should you—-> Realize this, the stronger your physical body the stronger your mind and all aspects of mental strength. It doesn’t work the other way. Train the body💪

Maycember is almost a wrap!! As the school year winds down, and we almost have a middle-schooler. This is life recently… endless golden retriever snuggles, more time in our backyard, more time moving with new workout spots/studios, runs along the coast, and embracing tween life, which means Starbucks runs and needoh hunting all over town! 🙈🐾 We are ready for summer☀️☀️☀️

In yoga we are always working to balance the energies of strength and ease in our bodies. When it comes to diet I really think of what I eat with this same principle in mind. Meaning what foods energetically feel light, light on digestion, simple ingredients, and will also bring a glow or nurture the body?… what foods feel heavy, hard for the body to breakdown, or stagnant?? Deciding how to fuel can follow these principles and also at the same time be highly nutritious, emphasis on protein, plant forward, not processed, fiber rich… You might try choosing your next meals thinking of 👉how can I bring more ease and strength into my body? Try it and lmk if you do how it goes💛

Charging scorpion🦂no surprise this Scorpio is super attracted to practicing this posture. I love the challenge of the negotiation between flexibility, strength, balance… hips, core, upper body, shoulder flexibility. Excited to continue to practice this one.
👉 I find it easiest to access through a tuck entry in pincha, but you can get into through split legs too.

Our baby had her end of 2026 season banquet with the most amazing gymnastics program and team we could ever hope for her This season’s end is extra poignant because her gym has been sold and many changes, shifts are happening. That said, last night we celebrated!! We celebrate the amazing athletes, coaches who care deeply and work tirelessly to elevate their gymnasts, and the community of parents that have become such good friends through this sport.
Olive was honored last night as GYMNAST OF THE YEAR🎉 Such a huge accomplishment!! Beyond proud of her and all her accomplishments. She also had 3 of the season’s highest scores on platinum and was recognized as a state and regional champion. WOW!!!! She inspires me everyday with her fierce determination and hard-work. She is going to do great things next season

The perfect shade💛 If I was going to come back as a loaf of bread it would be this golden milk sourdough😋
I used my typical milk bread recipe but subbed in coconut milk… and all typical golden milk spices… (turmeric, ginger, cardamom, black pepper) a bit of sugar and used an egg wash + black cumin seeds to top )🍞💛

So inexplicably complex and simple all at once is motherhood. The fiercest love you have ever known, greatest joy, and utter contentment. Lucky to say that my daughter is my best friend. Olive knows me a little more as a person, and not just “mom” as she grows. We share so much, currently it’s clothes and workouts, handstands, and skincare🤣 I’m so proud of the sweet girl she has grown into, and grateful God chose me as her mom, getting to walk alongside her own unique path in life. The most special gift✨✨✨ Happy Mother’s Day and especially to my amazing mama🩷💐 love you so much.
