Happy First Birthday to my little sister Ashley. I know that I don’t always act like it, but I love having you in my life. Just please quit biting my face all the time. Love you lil sis!

My Dad bought Ashley and me this fun Advent Calendar at Costco. It’s been so fun. Maybe people are smarter than us dogs thought.

When Penny comes over for Thanksgiving, it’s never a dull moment.

A2Z tug of war. Who do you think will win?

My parents wondered if there were In n Out Burgers in the Boise area. There isn’t, but we stumbled into a super cool old burger and ice cream place in Caldwell that’s been there since 1961. Looks strangely like the SoCal staple and food rocked as well.

After our hike, our parents went to the Kasino Club in Stanley for dinner on the patio. The Steelhead was awesome. There were lots of dogs there and we made lots of new friends. We really like this area and can’t wait to come back.

Our pack got in a late afternoon hike on the Fishhook Creek Trail near Redfish Lake in the Sawtooths. About 4 miles round trip and generally flat, this easy trail led to small lake in a basin that opened up to incredible views of the Sawtooths.

Also stopped by Fujishin Cellars in Sunnyslope. A tasting room in a very special historic building. The Winemaker there has won numerous awards and makes wines for a number of the local vineyards. They even let us dogs inside. We sat by the door and Ashley was the star of show. Never seen a puppy get so much attention.

Last stop on Sunday was Kerry Hill Winery, also on Sunnyslope in Idaho. This place was first class. The owners follow sustainable practices including the use of bees to pollinate their vineyards. Beautiful views towards the Snake River, live music, and amazing facilities. All the people there loved dogs and kept coming by to pet me and my sister Ash. Another great day in Idaho!

Next stop was Indian Creek Winery in Kuna, Idaho. What a fun place. Live music and food trucks. You can bring your own chairs like we did, buy some wine and food, and kick back and enjoy. Pretty hot in idaho in August, but the shade of the big trees on the big grassy lawn made it a nice visit.
