Gregg Necrason () is a legend known for his very signature style and not-so-subtle opinions on how wakeboarding should look. Fun fact: he’s also the inventor of the elephant. Gregg was with LF from the early days, and his passion and badass riding helped us grow from new-brand-on-the-block to a globally recognized movement. Remember the original Trip shape? Gregg was the first to ride it and helped with prototyping. Are you ready for more good stories? Stay tuned for “The PULL.”

The Rocket is the best board for learning to wakesurf and getting comfortable cruising endless waves. Soft-grip footpads ensure stable footing, multiple fins provide all the tracking you need, and a shoveled nose prevents diving while figuring out how to stay in the pocket. Score a new setup with a rope/handle combo for a killer price and get ready for a ton of fun for the whole family.

Where would LF be without the legend himself, ? Probably not around to type this up, let alone create a 30-year anniversary documentary. From iconic shapes like the Free, Trip, and Sq**rt to some of today’s most popular like the Peak, Unity, and Grail, Jimmy’s hands have literally and figuratively helped shaped Liquid Force and wakeboarding as a whole. And that doesn’t even touch wakesurfing or foiling. It goes without saying, Jimmy has stories. If you’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting him, you know they’re entertaining. Stay tuned for “The Pull.”

30 years ago this entrepreneurial pitchman gave birth to us. From the Skurfer to Wake Tech, X-Games to Jheri curl (unfounded rumor), has impacted towed watersports more than most. And if you know Tony, you know he’s got stories. Stay tuned for “THE PULL.”

Week /
It’s week, so we’re highlighting some of the badass ladies of LF.
Can you name a more on-fire rider on the planet these days than Rivers? The answer is no. Much has been written, said, discussed and posted about Rivers this year, and for good reason — she’s the first ever female to win the Rider of the Year award. We could end the caption right there. Hard stop. But what Rivers is doing for women’s riding, for the sport as a whole, and for so much more, deserves all the digital flowers and then some.
When she’s not dominating the contest scene (she goes for an insane of 4-peat at LAO next month), Rivers is dominating the content game, whether it’s in front of the camera or behind it. And she’s doing it all professionally, humbly, and with a smile on her face. That smile and humility do a good job of masking the raging inferno of motivation that seem to constantly burn inside her. That sort of motivation also belies her youth, but that’s Rivers: constantly pushing, striving, and expecting more. And to her credit, she’s hitting those goals she’s setting for herself, and we’re all better off getting to witness it. Rivers is the present and future of wakeboarding — all of it, not just women’s — and we couldn’t be more stoked to have her as part of the LFG crew.
Helpful tip for the rest of you out there: get yourself a good popcorn maker, because the Rivers show is just getting started.
