Looking back on such an amazing day getting to speak in front of the Shea Homes San Diego Division a few weeks back.
Drew, Casey, and I were asked to come in and discuss wellness from all corners. From staying available mentally, physically, and emotionally both at work and in our lives we covered the spectrum of burnout to thriving in performance.
Thank you again to Shea Homes for bringing us in. Looking forward to more opportunities to speak to and work with business executives. A group of performers who get overlooked for their competitiveness and unique view on peak performance. Stay tuned for clips from this day!

Every successful athlete has a team behind them. Anyone who watched the Olympics this year saw gold medalists run into the arms of their families in the stands.

How much can a compliment do?
Positive feedback can change the course of a team’s season or an athlete’s career. Compliments from a trusted teammate can turn around negative self-talk, make someone feel safe, redirect focus, and help them find their confidence again.
All of the benefits of compliments will return back to you. Make an effort to give meaningful compliments to your teammates and see the performance and culture shift in a positive direction.

Truly the best part of my job is hearing about the success my athletes find on the field once their confidence is back.
As I’ve said before, our confidence and performance are tied together. This young softball player has put in tremendous work towards her confidence and it’s paying off!
So proud and happy for her and can’t wait to see what’s next!

What happens when you Trust your training?
1. You show up with more effort.
2. You train with confidence and drive.
3. You start making breakthroughs.
If you feel stuck in your training and feel like you aren’t making by progress. Check in with your trust and buy in. See what changes when you start to trust the process and give more to each training session.
