We offer Sports Performance programs for student athletes where we build on a solid athletic foundation, while staying focused on each athlete’s individual goals. We properly progress them over time, so every training session builds on the last, leading to stronger, faster and more explosive athletes. People remember Bill Walsh as the coach of 3 San Francisco 49ers 3 Super Bowl winning teams, but many don’t realize that when he took over the team, they were terrible top to bottom.
They were 2-14 the year before he took over, and they hadn’t yet drafted Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, or any of the Hall of Fame players that became iconic members of those championship teams.
He was tasked with completely turning around a losing organizations entire trajectory, and he started it with his Standards of Excellence.
These are the 12 characteristics that he leaned on and cultivated in himself, his players, and his coaches to turn the 49ers from a perennial doormat to a football dynasty.
These are the same traits everyone should hone to maximize their potential, uplift those around them, and succeed in both sports and life.
