The peak summer heat might be fading, but the sun and wind are still strong out on the water. Sun, wind, noise, and vibration can cause "boater's fatigue," which can impair your reaction time just as much as alcohol.

The Carlyle Lake Haunted Trail returns this October with a bone-chilling adventure where fear and fun collide for a spine-tingling experience you won’t forget! Hosted by the Carlyle Lake Fireworks Committee, the event raises funds to support the 2027 Fireworks Spectacular. Carlyle BSA Troop 281 will also serve food and beverages for purchase each evening at the Dam West Boat Ramp.

A few things to know:
🎃 The Carlyle Lake Haunted Trail is recommended for ages 10+
🎃 Tickets are $15 and can only be purchased with cash each night of the event.
🎃 Tickets may sell out earlier than 9 pm.
🎃 This event involves a hayride and walking along an unpaved trail, therefore strollers or wagons are not permitted.
