Carmel Valley Tennis Camp is a junior residential tennis camp for children 10 - 18, the only tennis camp in California Accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA). Campers, beginning through advanced players, come to Carmel Valley Tennis Camp to improve their tennis and have fun. We offer excellent tennis instruction combined with daily match play to help every camper excel. Each session has campers ranging in experience from beginners to tournament players. Along with the great tennis, we have numerous off court daytime activities that include conditioning for tennis, swimming, hot tub, archery, ropes course, arts and crafts, sand volleyball, outdoor basketball, ping pong, bumperpool, fooz ball, and lawn games. Each night campers participate in a variety of planned evening activities involving the campers and the staff.

Tennis is a big reason campers come to CVTC. It is not the only reason campers remember CVTC.

Campers spend serious time on court. Small tennis groups. Three non-consecutive lesson hours. Daily demos. Match play. Center Court. Coaches helping campers improve strokes, movement, strategy, sportsmanship and confidence.

Then there is everything around the tennis.

Room groups. Fresh meals made at camp. Pool time. Evening activities. Conversations without phones in hand. Healthy competition. Cheering for other campers. Learning how to live as part of a community.

CVTC has been electronics-free for years because real connection is part of the program, not an extra. Our family is personally involved in camp, and CVTC’s ACA accreditation adds another layer of structure, safety and accountability for families choosing a sleepaway experience.

Campers come to improve their tennis. Campers leave as part of CVTC.
