We celebrated our beautiful seniors this week! It has been such a joy to watch these young women grow on our courts during these past 4 years. It takes a lot of dedication to stick with a sport a high school sport! We are so very proud of all of them! Congratulations seniors!!

It was a perfect day for our Samantha Salazar Quad! A big thank you goes out to the Salazar family for joining us in dedicating our day to our alumni Samantha Salazar. It made our day perfect to have them there as we played for Sam today. We ended up winning the tournament, and Isabella Deleon won the 1st place medal for #1 singles! We placed 2nd in all other positions. Well done, Panthers!

Awesome day for varsity!! We placed 2nd as a team at the Glenbard East Invite, and medaled in nearly every position! Diya and Megan took 1st place at #2 doubles, Leyna and Madeline took 2nd place at #1 doubles, Sydney placed 3rd at #1 singles, and Kristina and Bianca placed 3rd at #3 doubles. That’s a lot of hardware!! So proud of our Panthers today!!

The winning streak continues for varsity tennis!! They swept all their dual matches this week, and just won the Willowbrook quad tournament for the second year in a row!! Way to go, Panthers!!

3rd sweep in a row today for both JV1 and Varsity!! The Panthers have taken down West Chicago, Addison Trail, and Bartlett this week! What a great start to the season! Keep it up, Panthers!!

We had a great start to our season these past couple of weeks! We had a super successful annual GBN Grand Slam fundraiser event, and even got so lucky as to have the 1993 men’s doubles French Open champion, Luke Jensen, step in and participate! It was such a treat for our players and participants! We raised over $1600, which is a new record for us! Thank you to all our supporters!!! It was so much fun seeing our alumni and community members who are so loyal to supporting our program every year ❤️

We also had a great start to competition this past weekend at our first tournament. We won 3 matches and lost 2, and the two we lost were only by 1 match! We came away with wins over St. Francis, which is huge for us, and one of the Jacobs teams. The girls fought hard and battled through several tiebreakers. We are really proud of the tone they set for the season! Go Panthers!!

Hi GBN tennis alumni and friends! Many of you generously reach out to me to ask about donating to our program. We are so lucky to have a supportive community and loyal GBN alumni! If you’re looking for a way to give back to a special program, we would be so grateful! We plan to use the funds for uniforms, equipment, and a team membership to Centre Court to help our players continue to play tennis year round. Thank you so much to all of you for your consideration ❤️

Glenbard North High School Girls tennis fundraisier - Vertical Raise Fundraising is vital for the success of our program.
