Let’s go!

Went 2-4 at the USSSA Spring Slam this weekend. First tournament in awhile not placing. The girls have a lot of work to do but are ready to get back out there and compete! Although it wasn’t the best tournament, still had some big things:

-Sam Ingram had two runners on base and we were down by one in the bottom of the inning in our bracket game. She hit a bomb over centerfield fence to win the game!

-Addy Turner had MULTIPLE diving catches at first base and centerfield

- Brinkley Sallee had a great defensive weekend, throwing out a runner at the plate

Played in a one day usssa Easter tournament yesterday! The girls had a rough start to the morning with two losses in pool games. Then battled to the championship! Began at 8 am and the championship started after 9pm! Some big moments this weekend:

-Bailey Fisher caught all 6 games and hit a bomb over the fence!

-JB Wilson pitched 9 innings in a row for bracket. She pitched a shut out in the semifinal game.

-Sam Ingram took the role of a power hitting lead off and executed with getting us on the board early.

-Addy Turner caught a fly ball in left field and threw a runner out at home for a double play.

Let’s go!!

Took home first place in the Gold bracket! Went 7-1 on the weekend! The only team we lost to was the one we beat in the championship! Way to go AM!!

First tournament for the season went well. We played 6 games and scored 62 runs.

Some great plays from the weekend!! Some great pieces of hitting. Also an elite pitching performance from #8 Ainslee. She pitched 12 innings, had 20 strike outs, and ZERO earned runs!
