❤️ Matters of the Heart - 2026

Love is often misunderstood in today’s society and the expression of love typically rarely extends beyond family or close friends. The Bible teaches that we are supposed to love our neighbor and more specifically to be taking care of the ones that have the least as an example of showing our love for Christ.

At 575 we want to create opportunities to show kindness and love to others as a part of our development program. Each February, we will highlight an opportunity to support those that could use our help as a sign of Biblical obedience to loving our neighbors (Matthew 25:40-45 and
Matthew 22:36-39). This year we have chosen Jireh Ministries. This is the ministry my Sister Lydia Edmond presented to me last year. It focuses on providing education opportunities for children in Haiti that don’t have the opportunity without our help. She is the stateside founder of Jireh and her brother in law is on the ground in Haiti representing the local communities.

I have some past experiences with seeing first hand some situations that remind me how blessed we are here in America. My last mission trip to Cambodia we did a few days doing dumpsite ministry. We would literally provide a hot meal and medical services to families who spent all day going through the dumpsite looking for items they could clean and sell for recycling as the way to support the family. The average family worked all day for $2 USD. We helped start a school there on site so the children could have an education and a way out of that situation.

These examples are all over the world and Haiti provides many opportunities for these families to be in very similar circumstances. We have attached a video showing some that have been highlighted that need our help for an education. We have chosen this ministry because it will allow us the opportunity to not only support them but also be able to follow up and see the impact we can have!

We are going to take the next month and answer questions and get information for anyone that wants to be involved at any level. The video talks about being a monthly supporter and sponsoring a child’s education. That is $35 a month and what my family is going to do. If you want to do that please let me know and I will connect you to the organization and you can set that up. The total cost for the year is $300 for tuition and so if you want to just give a one time donation, we will give you a way to do that and we will let everyone know how many kids we can send to school as a club.

If we think about how blessed we are and what we spend at just one tournament, we could have a great impact on some families if we just gave up on having one Açaí bowl or didn’t buy a sweatshirt and instead gave for this ministry. Obviously we live in the best country in the world and have so much to be thankful for, so little personal sacrifices and actions of love towards others goes a long way in different parts of our world.

I hope you will talk as a family and with your daughter about how you would like to be involved. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me with any questions and how to make a donation. I hope that we can give a report in a couple of weeks of how many children our 575 Carrollton families have decided to support!

As always, this is not a requirement by any means, just another opportunity for us as a club to give your daughters ways to stand out positively in the community and impact our world! I am so proud to be a part of this family and am excited to see what impact we can have together!

Victory is the Lord’s,
Coach Matthew Kempf

This Week's Lineup:🎄 It’s Christmas Party Time at 575 Carrollton!!! 🎄

The holiday season is here, and that means team Christmas parties! One of our favorite traditions is bringing our volleyball families together to celebrate the season and strengthen the family atmosphere that makes our club so special.

We love having entire families join us as the girls, parents, and siblings enjoy time together off the court—getting to know one another, sharing laughs, and making memories. With food, games, and gifts, it’s sure to be a fun and festive time for everyone.

We can’t wait to celebrate the holidays together and enjoy this special season as one big volleyball family! ❤️🏐🎁
