It’s GEM Kickoff Week at UWG! Our GEM leaders, Kaley, Dominique, Victoria, and Mykia went into Bremen Middle School on Tuesday to kickoff the Girls Empowering Movement for the first time ever!

These faculty and student volunteers are working hard and having a great time at the PGA Tournament in Atlanta! Thanks so much to the PGA for allowing our SWP students to have this awesome opportunity! ⛳️

Our students and faculty had a great time at our InfoFest event! Students were able to network with campus groups, community organizations, and even took advantage of some job and internship opportunities! We are looking forward to growing this event next year! 🐺

Some of our wonderful SWP students came in on a Friday to get their CPR certification done right here on campus! 🐺

Now is the best time to get your Master degree in Sport Management! The program is 100% online and July 1st is the application deadline for a Fall 21 start. Save the Date! This year, the 2021 KPMG Women's PGA Championship will be held from June 22-27. All UWG students are welcome to participate as a student volunteer where they will be assisting at various locations onsite and participating in activities as it relates directly to hospitality operations and customer service. UWG students hosted a health fair for faculty, staff, and students today in the Coliseum. The students provided information on how to improve your health and wellness. There were 15 topics covered like healthy eating on a budget, stress management, desk fitness, and many more.

Lexi Close, a senior at UWG, has been named Gulf South Conference Softball Player of the Week. It's the second time in her career she's been named the league's player of the week. Congratulations Lexi! 👏
