DALLAS, June 30, 2024 - The Dallas Hornets, one of the two clubs in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex offering MLS Next, announced today that Supra United has joined the Dallas Hornets family. Effective immediately, Supra United will compete as Supra United - Dallas Hornets.

The addition of Supra United to the Dallas Hornets family provides Supra United players with pathways to compete in MLS Next, DPL, Texas 2, and other elite youth platforms not previously offered through Supra United.

"We are thrilled to collaborate with Supra United to foster development, education, and pathways for players in the Dallas community," said Cody Worden, Technical/Academy Director of Dallas Hornets. "We're looking forward to offering elite-level opportunities to Supra United players.”

On the field, players who compete for Supra United will be identified and invited to participate in elite level matches with the Dallas Hornets platforms such as MLS Next, DPL, and Texas 2.

"This marks an exciting chapter for Supra United as we join forces with Dallas Hornets who share my commitment to growing and developing youth soccer players," said Supra United - Dallas Hornets Director, Jose Burciaga. " The trust and support over the past five years from all the teams that have been a part of Supra has been instrumental in our success and part of this opportunity. Thank you to the Dallas Hornets for welcoming Supra United FC with open arms. We are excited for the next chapter."
