It IS Wednesday - tipping our hat to friends at WLBB for sharing the love on Monday last week AND to Times-Georgian for making a front page plug that Tuesday. Both showcasing the Carrollton Bike Bus and its Roll to School Wednesday program invite to celebrate and participate in National Walk and Roll to School Day October 7th! Thank you so much!

Featured Rider Friday - or should I say Featured Riders plural!
Cyclists know the perfect number of Bicycles is n+1,where n = number of bikes you currently own. This is how the +1 happens. Juan snagged a road bicycle from us a while back but came in to fit his wife, Jessie, with a set of wheels to pedal with him. Then niece, Dayanara, said if you are going to ride, I want to ride, too. Followed by son, Alex, who definitely had outgrown his rolling steed. And now everyone is set up for cycling! Super appreciate the Hernandez family continuing to be an important part of ours.
Enjoy miles of smiles 🚴🚵🚴🚵

Fun Throwback Thursday post - 9 year old Carmen was giddy getting her Blue JC Higgins bicycle under the Christmas Tree.
When we met it somewhere close to two decades ago (or even longer), much TLC was needed to restore her to it's original grandeur. Allen made it happen, even down to the pinstripes. A rideable classic that is museum worthy. Carmen brought her bicycle in to put air in the tires. Now it's ready to roll (and showcase) once again. Thanks for bringing it by for a visit this week, Mrs Pope!

National Walk and Roll to School Day - Yay!
High five to everyone that participated. The Carrollton Bike Bus crew hosted a mini cupcake party to start things off. Juan Carlos returned with cool colored lights, Osman snagged great pics, and Eisner scored a multi-tool!
We are on Fall Break next week, but Roll to School Wednesday will return week 3 on October 21 so mark your calendar now 😍

While the Fall Temps are fabulous, the earlier sunsets are totally harshing our ride time so now we have one start at 5:30 pm - flexible distances and routes. This schedule will take us through the end of October Tuesday night group rides.
Everyone invited to pedal along. Maybe you'll see our latest furry bicycle fan - LOL! 😸
