It matches Jerry Pate (1975) as the best finish at an NCAA Championship by any Alabama men’s golfer in program history.

A special night celebrating one of college golf’s highest honors.

William was one of 10 finalists recognized at the Fred Haskins Award Finalists Dinner this past Thursday night. This year’s event also featured Ben Crenshaw, a three-time Haskins Award winner (1971–73), who joined the finalists for the evening.

The Fred Haskins Award is presented annually to the nation’s most outstanding male NCAA Division I golfer.
