Just dawned on me at Midnight over here.. I never did a race recap from the Southern N/T Nationals 9… and I truly apologize for that. I need to thank all of the racers and fans who came out and was able to enjoy 3 days of great racing.. it was a lot of money won.. and alot of fun had. I wanna also thank all of my sponsors, each and every one of you makes this all happen and it wouldn’t be nearly possible without you. I believe I’ve gotten all of the Summit Racing Equipment $500 Bonus Gift Cards to all the winners. Everyone has been paid.. and a time was had. Thanks to my Brothers who both helped and was by my side the entire time with whatever I needed them to do as well as guide me in the direction they see best for me when I cannot see everything in or around me. Thanks to John Sears and Jen for handling tech. Thanks to my main man Dominique Brown for doing everything he does. Can’t do this without him. Thanks to my guys Hewitt and Kydarian Wilkins for having my back and my side helping anyway they can. Thanks to Michael Poland and Gunner for helping run the shootouts and trusting me to represent their brand. Thanks to Elliott Nourvle aka Coach for doing his thing on the mic. Thanks to Chris for helping with the chip draw. Thanks to my main man Xavier McBride for sponsoring the 5/SB Boost. Thanks to my main Willie Watson for just being who you are and coming to hangout with us. I wouldn’t be who I am if it wasn’t for Dog. Thanks to my family for helping me with the gates and anything I ask of them. Thanks to Gaylen Smith, Celeste and the entire staff at Xtreme Raceway Park. Thanks to Clyde Amanda Scott for allowing me to represent XRP and never ever questioning or pushing back on anything.. he’s always just trusted and let me do my thing and anything I need he’s always never hesitated to help me in anyway. If I forgot anyone I apologize, charge it to my head and not my heart but thanks again to all of the fans and racers as well as my many sponsors.
Something I’ll touch on just a bit.. BSO was more appealing when it was twice a year race. That’s no disrespect to anyone but it’s just the truth. But personally I don’t like the idea of cars just sitting around all year to run just my races. I never liked it but what do you do? At the end of last year I believe it was, cars left a NO TIME race and several decided to light the boards. I was faced with a hard decision, many told me to just say f**k them and not let them race in MY races. I didn’t like the idea but number of people, some of yall know who you are. My hands were sort of tied and the decision really wasn’t solely mine with what happened and how it happened.. because at that time the rules were NO TIME only.. Feel free to jump in here if you have the courage to do so! I remember talking to Dominique about this and I’m telling him we have to deal with this. We have to address because people are putting pressure on us to not let people race. Dom said f**k em and not let them race lol I pushed back of course.. because I started promoting races for every one to be able to race. But I knew that would create some of what you see and then there’s guys who posts their tickets.. which they own their s**t. I have no dog in the fight, I can’t control that either. The rules have always said calendar year and it’s not been an issue. But I will say.. I’ll continue to support the class as best as I can and my thinking cap is on and I’ve also been talking with John Sears and some of my racers/sponsors on different things to bring even more excitement to my two races but I choose to hold my cards close to my chest at this time and we will share that info when the time is right. It’s 12:30am in 🇿🇦 so that time isn’t now.
