Today, we celebrate Global Running Day together! We are so thankful for the running community and cherish every mile covered!

Flashback to last Saturday when we were given the chance to sponsor the Chick-fil-A & Big Peach Half-Marathon with all proceeds going towards Advocates for Children!

Thank you to Advocates for Children for allowing us to be a part of a wonderful morning on the roads of Cartersville, nothing better than a Saturday morning race in your community to help support a wonderful organization!

S/O to our owner, Parker, for placing 6th overall in the half with a time of 1:25:04!! (That’s an average of 6:31 per mile😳)

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT – Specific to Road Closings for this coming Saturday’s May 17th. Annual running of the Chick-fil-a / Big Peach Running Co. Cartersville Half Marathon:

“The 2026 Running of the Duck Dash 5K and the Cartersville Half-Marathon to benefit Advocates for Children, will be held Saturday morning May 16th. The following surface streets will be impacted for a 2.5 hour period between 7:00 AM and 9:30 AM:
*Pine Grove Road
*Douthit Ferry Road
*Indian Mounds Road / Etowah Drive
Whereas no roads / routes will be closed entirely, there will be intermittent lane closures during the duration of the race and the Cartersville Police Department asks that all residents and motorists in that area to please use caution and to please be on the lookout for runners during that time period as this event raises money for an outstanding cause in support of Children in our local community.”
