Grizzlies -PLEASE READ: Fall fees are due now through Sunday Oct 4th! READ ON FOR DETAILS! Tournament Team Players owe $415 ($110 will be paid directly to one of our tournaments). Practice Only Players owe $100. Coach Branche will collect money at the beginning of practice this Sunday and next Sunday!

Tryout Results have been emailed out! Unfortunately we did not have enough players to divide up into two teams, so we had to make cuts. However, anyone who did not make the tournament team is encouraged to continue to come to practices. The cost for practices only through November 1st is $100. If you didn't get an email, please let me know ASAP!

Thanks to everyone for coming out last Sunday for fall tryouts! After discussing things with the coaching staff, here is where we’re at:
U15 (8th and 9th graders) – we currently have 8 players
High School (grades 10 thru 12) – we currently have 23 players
Here are the challenges we are currently facing:
• U15 – we would need another 8 players to round out that team (I consider grades 8 and 9 in this age group)
• HS – we would need another 9 players to be able to have 2 teams and split into an A and B squad.
We know there are not too many fall lacrosse options so we want to give everyone the opportunity to play this fall, so here is what we are asking of everybody:
1. RECRUIT! – we need your help to find the additional players for both levels so everyone can have a spot on a team. If you have anyone interested in playing, please have them email me at [email protected] and come to practice this Sunday!
2. Come to practices this Sunday and next Sunday the 13th and 20th at Rabbit Hill from 2:00 to 4:00 (and bring your insurance information in case I do not have a Grizzlies or MVAA waiver on file for you)
Let’s see how many players we can all recruit between now and Sunday the 20th. After practice that day, we will have a parent meeting and see what our final numbers are and go from there.
Payments – no payments will be due until Sunday October 27th after we make our final determination on our fall teams.

REMINDER: Grizzlies for Fall Lacrosse are THIS SUNDAY from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Rabbit Hill Park. We will try to end tryouts as quickly as possible since many of the Mtn View players plan on attending the funeral for Mr. Birkbeck. PLEASE WEAR YOUR GRIZZLIES UNIFORM IF YOU HAVE IT. IF YOU DO NOT, PLEASE TRY TO WEAR A PINNIE WITH A NUMBER ON IT!

Due to factors beyond our control, WE ARE RESCHEDULING our Fall Tryouts to NEXT Sunday, Sept 6th. The time and location will remain the same (1pm to 3pm at Rabbit Hill Park in Dacula).

We’re very excited to get started and have a great group of coaches ready to help you take your game to the next level. We are expecting to field high school teams and potentially a U15 team this Fall.
