Exactly one year from today, the 2027 FISU World University Games in Chungcheong, South Korea will come to a close.
At the Closing Ceremony, the FISU flag will be handed to North Carolina showcasing NC as the next host of the World University Games 🌎
7,500+ student-athletes representing 100+ countries will come to North Carolina for the 2029 World University Games — the largest event in our state’s history.

Our interns stepped onto the piste for a Learn to Fence seminar at Forge Fencing in Durham, North Carolina.
Led by Matthew Chaves, with local fencing champion Sky Miller and former World University Games athlete Jesse Nedjeka.
