Yesterday marked the beginning of our 2026–2027 season, and our studios are already filled with new faces, familiar smiles, and so much excitement for the year ahead.

We’re especially happy to welcome all of the new students and families joining our IBA community this season. With freshly painted studios, renewed energy, and many exciting projects ahead, it feels like the perfect way to begin a new chapter.

To every dancer walking through our doors this year: we hope this season brings you growth, inspiration, wonderful friendships, and many moments you’ll remember.

As summer comes to a close, we’re feeling incredibly grateful. 🤍

What a summer it has been at International Ballet Academy—seven weeks of our IBA Summer Intensive, filled with exceptional guest faculty, our dedicated core faculty, talented dancers, and countless hours of learning, growth, artistry, and connection. We are so thankful to every teacher, student, and family who brought their energy and trust into our studios.

From there, we had the privilege of welcoming BBSI — Boys Ballet Summer Intensive back to IBA, culminating in its 10th Anniversary Gala. 🩰✨ Ten years of an extraordinary mission: opening doors for boys in ballet through outstanding training, mentorship, opportunity, and the example set by the many IBA and BBSI alumni who have come before them.

To everyone who was part of this summer—thank you. For the hard work, the friendships, the inspiration, and the unforgettable experiences we shared.

And now, a new season begins. ❤️ We return to the studios with renewed energy, passion, discipline, curiosity, and an open mind, ready to work and grow together.

We cannot wait to welcome our students back to IBA and begin another year of training, artistry, and discovery.

BBSI WEEK TWO ✨🩰

As we wrap up Week Two of the Boys Ballet Summer Intensive, the energy and excitement from our dancers continue to grow. These young men are eager and hungry to learn, and it is a pleasure to see so much interest, focus, and excitement as they absorb every class, correction, and new challenge.

Now we head into our final week, bringing everything together for a beautiful performance at the end of Week Three. After three weeks of intensive training, coaching, and rehearsals at the International Ballet Academy studios in Cary, we can’t wait to see all of that dedication come to life onstage. Don’t miss it! 🎭✨

As we close another unforgettable 7-week International Ballet Academy Summer Intensive, we simply want to say thank you.
