Mission Hill Farm

Though Tryon Spring 4 was a wet one and Friday was a learning experience for some, everyone made the best of it and we came out with some great success on Sunday! I can’t thank our amazing clients enough for pitching in all weekend and especially on Sunday to get me on the road home so quickly!

It’s been a busy May! From Lexington, VA to the CHP in North Carolina- and now off to Tryon! Congratulations to all of our horses and riders on a successful few weeks of showing.

A special congratulations for Laurel Tinney for winning the derby last weekend aboard Melissa Jones’ Caballe. It’s hard to believe she was showing in the jumpers last May!

Isla de Coco (Coco) is a 12 year old 17.2 mare. She done up to 1.30m jumpers, and was a competitive 4* horse in eventing. Coco could step right into a 1.20 junior/amateur job, or could make up to be a lovely equitation horse- as she is super comfortable and is extremely broke on the flat.
Coco is easy to live with. Very quiet, brave and easy in the barn. She is not mare-ish at all. Priced currently in the lowest of sixes. Price will increase as she gains experience outside of the event world.
